Planting/Relocating

Knowing which type of tree will do well in its new location is imperative to its chances of become healthly survival.  I have gained this knowledge through years of being around newly planted trees.  Planting trees is one thing, but advising a City administrator to carry out the correct aftercare is a challenge.  I start my day at a tree nursery and roam through the young trees before they are dispatched to their new locations.  I love seeing how happy people get when we plant new trees in the city.

Relocating trees was a major part of my study whilst training to be an arborist.  It is a great way to save trees that would have otherwise been cut down.   I have been involved in relocation projects on different types of soil and sand.
